Default Brake calipers question

I have had a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors on my car with the original calipers and I want to put a nice looking set of black calipers. I've seen nice black ones on 300zxs that say Nissan on them. Can any of the companies just sell only calipers or only the whole kit?

You will most likely be able to buy just the calipers either used or at swap meets or a 300zx forum. But I wouldn't risk buying them unless you can confirm that the model caliper you are trying to mount will be compatible. You may need to have a bracket fabricated for it to work with our cars. It is not impossible, though not likely that much from the 300zx will work (plug & play) with our cars since they were completely redesigned.

If you are up for some experimentation and have easy access to those calipers you can try.

the 370z sport package comes with black calipers...you should look into those, probably less fabrication needed

your best bet is purchasing 370z/g37 sport calipers. they are made by Akebono.. Comes in a dark silver color with NISSAN printed on it.

there is a bracket kit avail to fit them on 350z and G35s.

You will need new rotors and pads and lines also btw.
